THERAVADA DHARMA SOCIETY OF IOWA

At 18 feet tall, the buddha statue at Theravada Dhamma Society of Iowa is one of the largest in the country. This lovely Buddhist temple also features a waterfall and a peaceful bridge. Read more about the buddha statue here.

MARSHALLTOWN HIGH SCHOOL CAMPUS

The Marshalltown High School campus is home to some of the largest public art pieces in our community, as well as one of a handful of remaining roundhouses in Iowa. It’s also home to the Marshalltown Performing Arts Center, a state-of-the-art facility where Live on Stage is held, along with many other community dance, music, and theater performances.
