“Through a “pocket park poetry project” I’ve had the honor of working directly with dozens of Marshalltown community members to tell Marshalltown’s story and bring the essence of Marshalltown to life in my own way through the Marshall County Arts and Culture Alliance. Working with the Alliance has been a highlight of my artistic career. I’m in awe of the genuine investment in ‘togetherness’ that I’ve witnessed through my work with the community, commissioned by the Alliance. May it continue, always!”
